Seawork 2026 Highlights by Marfle

June is typically a very month for Marfle. Not only do we get to enjoy the arrival of warmer summer weather, but we also have the opportunity to attend one of the most important events in the maritime calendar: Seawork.
Now in its 27th edition, Seawork has grown into Europe's largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition. Thousands of marine professionals, vessel operators, harbour authorities, marine contractors, equipment manufacturers, and service providers gathered for three exciting days of networking, collaboration, and innovation.
Reconnecting with customers and shaping Marfle’s future together
One of the highlights of this year's event was the opportunity to reconnect with long-standing customers from around the world and across the many sectors we serve. These conversations provided valuable insight into how Marfle continues to support day-to-day fleet operations in making more informed, data-driven decisions.
Throughout the event, our team welcomed customers and industry professionals to our stand to discuss operational challenges, future priorities, and evolving fleet requirements. The feedback we received reinforced the importance of close collaboration in driving product development that addresses real-world needs.
Our CTO, Juha Mannikko, was always ready to answer any technical questions and has also happily shared Marfle’s product roadmap for the remainder of 2026, while getting an exclusive preview of several exciting developments already planned for 2027.
In addition, we conducted a series of customer interviews to gain a deeper understanding of how Marfle is being used across different roles, emerging industry challenges, and measurable operational gains across fleets. Stay tuned as new use cases are on the way...
We're incredibly grateful to every partner who took the time to visit our stand (H25), including Boluda SMS Towage UK, Offshore Turbine Services Ltd, Tidal Transit, Harwich Haven Authority, Cattewater Harbour Commissioners, Forth Ports, Wildcat Marine Ltd, and Njord Offshore. Thank you for your continued trust.

A Seawork Tradition: The Cardboard Boat Regatta
One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the ever-popular Cardboard Boat Regatta, and naturally, we couldn’t miss it.
With companies travelling from all corners of the world to gather for three action-packed days, this year's World Cup-themed race proved to be a crowd favourite.
Teams took to the water in creatively designed cardboard boats, embracing the competitive spirit while delivering plenty of entertainment for participants and spectators alike.

What’s Next for Marfle?
We had a wonderful time in Southampton and would like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand throughout the event.
In fact, this may have been our busiest Seawork yet. Our team was constantly demonstrating our system capabilities, exchanging ideas, exploring potential partnerships, and, of course, having plenty of fun along the way.
Now that we're back at our headquarters in Helsinki, we're focused on following up on the many conversations from Seawork, developing new features, and helping our customers achieve even greater operational excellence.
One thing is certain: you'll find us at the same location when Seawork returns in 2027. Until then, the countdown begins.
Keep following our journey. We have several exciting announcements coming soon, including upcoming events where we'll be available to discuss your fleet challenges, operational goals, and how Marfle can help you run smarter.
See you very soon. Nähdään pian!
